A very warm Namaste to you all.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Chintamini Yogi will be coming to the UK in February. Known to many as simply Head Sir from the years when he was founding principal of HVP Central School, Chintamini ji (or CM for short) is the spiritual leader of Hindu Vidyapeeth in Nepal and of the global family brought together by his Human Values Philosophy.

CM's visit offers the perfect opportunity for a meeting and social gathering of HVP Nepal-UK on Saturday 25th February.

Everyone is welcome to the meeting, which will take place in Islington, in the Main Hall at the Church on the Corner (64 Barnsbury Road, N1 0ES). This will be a strategy workshop focussing on the present and the long-term future of the HVP schools. The meeting will start at 11am and run until 1.30. Those wishing to attend the social only are warmly invited to come to the church beforehand at 1.30 to listen to an address from Head Sir. At 2pm, we will then walk to the nearby restaurant, Indian Veg (92-93 Chapel Market, N1 9EX) for a tasty all-you-can-eat vegetarian curry for a very reasonable £7.95!

We very much hope you can join us for a much needed and long overdue in-person gathering of the HVP Nepal-UK family. The three schools in Nepal have survived the pandemic, a remarkable achievement in itself, but the cost has been considerable and their situation is still precarious. A renewed effort is needed to safeguard their future and the education of the next generation of HVP students. And there's none better than Head Sir to inspire us all.

So we can get an idea of numbers on the day, please could you respond to our email address - - letting us know if and how many of you are coming.

Many thanks, and we look forward to seeing you there.
